Crypto KOL “The Crypto Network” recently praised a Nigerian student who agreed to return several thousand dollars worth of Solana tokens that were mistakenly deposited into his crypto wallet.
A Nigerian chemical engineering student, Anjola Femi, recently returned $14,000 worth of cryptocurrency assets that were mistakenly deposited into his account by a crypto trader.
Femi won $100 worth of SOL tokens in one of the KOL’s crypto giveaway promotions. However, the trader accidentally sent 100 SOL.
Upon realizing the mistake, the KOL contacted Femi and asked him to return 90 SOL and keep the rest. After Femi returned it, the KOL shared details of the moment with his more than 174,000 followers on X.
“Lucky sent me back 90 SOL. There is still hope in the crypto community, it’s amazing, an anonymous individual is my supporter, a follower of mine sent back 90 SOL. Thank you”.

Shortly after The Crypto Network shared a video in which he thanked Femi, some well-wishers, amazed by Femi’s honesty, began sending tips to his crypto wallet. According to one report, Femi had a gift credit balance of over $5,000 at the time of writing.
By returning the money, Femi not only goes against the general trend in the crypto world where recipients spend or refuse to return mistakenly sent assets like the case between Crypto.com and an Australian woman, but Bitcoin Magazine reported last March.
