Stores have been having a hard time keeping their information up to date lately. A few hours before the next Nintendo Direct, an announcement for a highly anticipated game leaks. But, it’s the players who will be happy.
After a Nintendo Direct rather original last week, the conference that everyone is waiting for is finally coming! The news broke yesterday: Big N is giving us an appointment this afternoon, at 4pm. Several highly anticipated exclusives should be shown. But, not only that. One of the announcements would have leaked in advance, it should please many players and not only Nintendo fans.
The date should be confirmed at the Nintendo Direct
This is a game that has its place on the Nintendo Switch, even though it is based on a franchise created by a competing console manufacturer, PlayStation in this case. We are of course talking about LEGO Horizon Adventures ! A comic iteration of Aloy’s adventures in her post-post-apo world filled with giant robots, the game had already been shown during a previous Nintendo Direct.
Therefore, we most certainly expect to see him again this afternoon. And this, especially since new information about the game was leaked ahead of the conference event. These are users of the social network Reddit who noticed this detail: the PlayStation Store temporarily displayed the release date of the said game, apparently set at November 14, 2024. Which means that the mistake made for Red Dead Redemption is being repeated.
The page has since been corrected. The date has now been reverted to the simple year “2024”without further details. We therefore understand that PlayStation anticipated a little too quickly the announcement that should be emerging this afternoon at the Nintendo Direct. The Nintendo Direct has every chance, therefore, of confirming the arrival of LEGO Horizon Adventures at the end of the year.
Therefore, young and old will probably be able to immerse themselves in the colorful world of Horizon before Christmas. If the games of the license, usually exclusive to PlayStation consoles, are rather demanding and complex for the youngest, this title will be truly mainstream. That is why it will be released on PS5, PC and Switch. The LEGO license has proven to us how well it can redesign the greatest works of pop culture, with humor and lightness. You will most certainly see this again during the next Nintendo Direct.
