Nix is probably the most important character in your Star Wars Outlaws adventure. An adorable creature that accompanies Kay Vess in her adventures, he is a vital element that can help her distract enemies, deactivate alarms, find treasures or steal objects. It is then possible to customize his appearance by finding a few accessories but also to give him a considerable boost by feeding him! Here’s how to do it.
Unlocking bonuses for Nix through food
To do this, you must find the “Galactic Street Food” stands available on each of the planets in the game (except Cantonica). By talking to the robot cook, you can order a delicious typical dish and enjoy it with Nix. This will launch a mini-game filled with QTEs where you must press the right buttons at the right time. Once the food is devoured, Nix will have the lifetime bonus but he can only have one at a time.
So head to your ship or the Equipment menu to swap the food Nix receives (and therefore his bonus). Don’t worry, failing the timing mini-game has no consequences. In the game settings, you can even disable the mini-game so you don’t need to do it and just enjoy the cutscene.
List of Treats for Nix and Their Effects
There are currently only 4 delicious meals that Nix can eat to become more efficient. Obtaining all 4 allows you to complete the “Galactic Gourmet” trophy. Here is the list:
