Now that you have activated the 4 mechanisms of the Water Temple of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you will be able to go to the center of the island to activate the seal with Link’s hand. This will make the tiny boss Octopoulpos appear, a monster that can summon a giant mud shark! Water will obviously be your ally here.
Octopoulpos: How to defeat it?
- The little octopus will spit out slime and summon a muddy shark going around the circle at full speed. Cut him off and use Sidon’s shield to send a jet of water at him: this will destabilize him and make Octo fall.
- Hit him as much as you can to cause maximum damage.
- He will re-summon his mount and, this time, send a huge wave of slime. Try to dodge it by jumping using gravity because it could hurt you a lot and force you to start the fight again. Remember to put the shield on regularly.
- Repeat the operation until the second phase where he will spray the area with mud. Equip yourself with your weapon with a Discharger at its end to clean up as you go and avoid getting bogged down!
- Try to get the shark to come out from under the ground by sending a wave of water at it either with your Water Wand or with Sidon’s Shield.
- When the octopus is going to jump from puddle to puddle, try to clean as many as possible and jump in the air then shoot an arrow to slow down time so you can aim at it easily.
- In the last phase, be careful of the super-powerful laser that the shark spits! The best way to knock it out is always to use Sidon’s shield by projecting water on it.
