Once Human Tin: Where to find this material and what is it used for?

With the release of Once Human, players are now looking for goals that are often very personal, and this is probably the case for you as well. To achieve this, however, you will probably need many crafting materials, including:Tinand we explain in this detailed guide how to achieve this and, above all, why!

Where to find Tin in Once Human?

Since it’s one of the first really interesting harvestables, Tin is inherently unobtainable when you first arrive in Once Human. This means you can’t access it until you’ve completed the main storyline in the Dayton region.

Once you have access to the second region, the Broken Delta, you should have no trouble finding Tin deposits, although Copper is still very present in this area. The region is very favorable to mountainous reliefs, you should be able to find them almost everywhere, just look for these deposits with grayish (or whitish) tips, they are generally grouped by two, or even three at least.

Also consider creating a Copper pickaxe before trying to mine Tin since otherwise it will be inaccessible to you. Last but not least, know that the Iron River region, north of Dayton, is much more conducive to Tin farming than the Broken Delta. However, it should be noted that the Broken Delta is accessible much more quickly, from level 10 to 12, while the Iron River requires being around level 20 to be able to go there without too much trouble.

What is Tin used for in Once Human?

Tin is a crucial component to your progression in Once Human since it is what allows you to smelt Copper Ores and Tin Ores in order to obtain a Bronze Ingot, the latter being essential for the creation of certain tools, components or other weapons much more formidable than their copper counterparts (or even completely new ones, like the AKM.

To be able to create a single Bronze Ingot you will need to gather the following components:

  • 5x Tin ore
  • 3x Copper ore
  • 1x Coal
