Shaymin is back in a new Special Research that you can all participate in without spending a single cent. Discover each step you need to complete in order to obtain this fabulous little creature in its Earth form on Pokémon GO!
Shaymin is making a comeback to the delight of its fans and this time, no need to participate in a Pokémon GO Fest to get it. You just need to log in from April 20, 2023 to access it.
Shaymin, the Gratitude Pokémon

- Form: Earthly although there is a Celestial form but it is not available here.

Plant and gratitude Pokémon GO: The different missions to complete
The special study “Plant and gratitude” is divided into 7 different stages having, for the most part, three missions as well as a final reward.
Step 1
- Take 4 pictures of your Pokémon: 3 Nanab Berries.
- Spin 9 PokéStops or Gyms: 15 Poké Balls.
- 2 km covered: a meeting with Ceribou.
- Rewards for completing the stage: 1,000 XP, 500 Stardust, and 1 Mysterious Element.
Step 2
- Take 4 pictures of your Grass-type Pokémon: 3 Raspberry Berries.
- Take 9 photos of wild Pokémon: an encounter with Cotovol.
- 2 km traveled: 6 Super Potions.
- Rewards for completing the stage: 1,500 XP, 1,000 Stardust, and 1 Rocket Radar.
Step 3
- Recharge a Pokémon 22 times: 1 Star Piece.
- Rewards for completing the stage: 2,500 XP, 1,500 Stardust, and 1 Premium Battle Pass.
Step 4
- Catch 4 Grass-type Pokémon: An encounter with Leafeon.
- Catch 9 Pokémon: 15 Super Balls.
- Catch 2 Flying-type Pokémon: 6 Hyper Potions.
- Rewards for completing the stage: 3,000 XP, 2,000 Stardust, and 2 Golden Raspberry Berries.
Step 5
- Complete 4 field studies: 3 Nanana Bays.
- Win 9 hearts with your buddy: 15 Hyper Balls.
- Hatch 2 eggs: 6 Potions Max.
- Rewards for completing the stage: 5,000 XP, 2,500 Stardust, and 2 Silver Nanana Berries.
Step 6
- Catch 22 Pokémon of different species: 1 Lucky Egg.
- Rewards for completing the stage: 5,000 XP, 2,500 Stardust, and an encounter with Shaymin.
Step 7
- Collect your reward: 22 Shaymin Stickers.
- Collect your reward: 2022 PX.
- Collect your reward: 2022 Stardust.
- Rewards for completing the stage: 25 Shaymin Candies, 1 Incense, and 22 Hyper Balls.
Pokémon GO shiny Shaymin: is it available in this study?
For fans of Shiny Pokémon, having Shaymin in this form is more or less long since it requires resetting certain games of the license like Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl, without forgetting the original games of the fourth generation. If you were hoping to have it in shiny thanks to this study, you may be disappointed since‘it is not available in its chromatic form but here is a picture to show you what it looks like in its color variant.
