Mastering the capture of a creature is an important element in Pokémon GO and today, Niantic offers you an event on Pokémon GO where you will have to catch as many pocket monsters of the Ice type as possible. A golden opportunity to obtain Stalgamin, Hexagel or Grelaçon in shiny!
This Saturday, December 9, 2023, Niantic invites you to participate in an event highlighting the capture of pocket monsters within Pokémon GO.
Pokémon GO Capture Mastery: What is the event?
If you’ve never participated in an event of this type, the principle is quite simple since it is somewhat similar to most activities that take place over a single day. That is to say, certain Pokémon will appear more often so that you can capture as many as possible. So far, nothing is different from other events, however, this one does not highlight a single creature, but a specific type.
In the case of the 2023 edition of the Capture Mastery, it will be the kind Ice which will be honored. Thus, the Saturday, December 9 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.you will be able to encounter Stalgamin and Grelaçon more frequently. In addition, you will be able to spawn Hexagel if you complete field research missions. These tasks will focus on throwing Poké Balls.
To accompany these Pokémon, you can count on two one-off studies as well as various bonuses as follows.
- A free one-off study that offers you 10 steps made up of several tasks in order to obtain a total of 40 meetings with Hexagel.
- A one-off paid study that is obtained by purchasing the “One-off study: Capture mastery” ticket for €2.49.
- You will have a higher chance of encountering Chromatic Stalgamin, Chromatic Hexagel, and Chromatic Grelaçon.
- XP gained when you catch a Pokémon with a Nice Throw, Superb Throw, and Excellent Throw will be doubled.
