Pokémon GO Collection Challenge: How to Complete It and Get the Rewards?

Pokémon being a license featuring characters called Trainers and whose goal is to capture the Pokémon they come across to fill the famous Pokédex, at least, that’s the basic premise. And the fights have taken on an importance that we find in Pokémon GO. On the other hand, since the beginning of 2021, Niantic has put the capture back in the spotlight thanks to the Collection Challenges that appear during various events like the one currently underway.

What is the Collection Challenge?

The Collection Challenge is one of the various activities offered during the events. For example, Environment Week asks you to find Pokémon like Tadmorv or Boskara. To complete this mission, you need to get all creatures matching the challenge. The means of obtaining each species may differ. since some of them cannot be obtained in the wild. You will therefore have to go through evolution, Raids or even exchanges with your friends.

One last thing to know about the Collection Challenge is the fact that‘it is limited in time and that it will no longer be possible to do it once the associated event is over, whereas special studies are, for the most part, available permanently once they are unlocked.

How to participate?

To participate in a Collection Challenge, it’s very simple, just log in to the game from Niantic during the period it is active. Once logged in, all you have to do is click on the studies icon which you will find at the bottom right, above the Pokémon present around you. In the left tab, you will be able to discover the creatures sought.
Please note that Any Pokémon caught before the Challenge is not counted. The retroactivity of this kind of event would make the task much too easy.

Why do the Collection Challenge?

Capturing your favorite pocket monsters isn’t just for show. In fact, the game will reward you if you fully complete your challenge. Among the rewards you will find, there are stardust, experience points, various objects like berries, candies or even Balls and, from time to time, all this is accompanied by an encounter with a Pokémon.
