Dark Regigigas is coming to Pokémon GO in a special research study waiting for you for free during the Rocket Offensive event. Dates, tasks, rewards… We reveal everything you need to know to obtain this creature from the fourth generation thanks to the Dark Offensive quest in Pokémon GO.
Team GO Rocket is launching an assault on the Pokémon world and after many failures, they have decided to darken the most powerful Golem. Once again, you will have to free him from Giovanni’s clutches. Will you be able to save him in this new Pokémon GO Special Research?
Pokémon GO Dark Offensive: How to access the special study?
Special studies are studies that are not limited in time, unlike one-off studies.but you still need to be able to unlock them. In this case, you need to Log in during the October 2023 Rocket Offensive event in order to benefit from it. If you launch the game, the study will automatically unlock in the dedicated tab that you will find at the bottom right when you are in the game. However, you must have completed any ongoing Team GO Rocket related quests to access it, otherwise it will not be possible for you to obtain it.

Pokémon GO Dark Offensive: Tasks and Rewards List
The special study “Dark Offensive” is cut into 5 different stages all having three missions as well as a final reward. PTo obtain Dark Regigigas, you will need to defeat Giovanni.
Step 1
- Catch 15 Pokémon : 5 Nanana Berries.
- Spin 5 Pokéstops or Gyms : 10 Poké Balls.
- Defeat 3 minions from Team GO Rocket : 1 Mysterious Element.
- Rewards for completing the stage : Meeting with Brocélôme, 1,000 Stardust and 1,000 XP.
Step 2
- Catch 15 Pokémon : 5 Nanana Berries.
- Transfer 10 Pokémon : 10 Super Balls.
- Defeat 5 minions from Team GO Rocket : 3 Mysterious Elements.
- Rewards for completing the stage : Meet Tutafeh of Galar, 1,500 Stardust and 1,500 XP.
Step 3
- Defeat Arlo from Team GO Rocket : 2,500 PX
- Defeat Cliff from Team GO Rocket : 2,500 PX
- Defeat Team GO Rocket’s Sierra : 2,500 PX
- Stage Completion Rewards : 2,500 XP, 3,000 Stardust and 1 Super Rocket Radar
Step 4
- Find the Team GO Rocket boss: 10 Hyper Potions
- Fight the Team GO Rocket boss : 10 Hyper Balls
- Defeat the Team GO Rocket boss : 6 Reminders Max
- Stage Completion Rewards: 3,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, and an encounter with Ectoplasma wearing a Halloween costume.
Step 5
- Collect your reward : 2,500 PX
- Collect your reward : 2,500 PX
- Collect your reward : 2,500 PX
- Stage Completion Rewards : 5,000 XP, 3,500 Stardust and 2 Silver Nanana Berries
