In January, many events like New Year’s Eve or the Egg-phoric March await you in Pokémon GO. Ultra Beast Raids, featured hours with shiny Tarsal and shiny Eevee, events, Community Day… Here’s what you need to know about this program!

Niantic has released a press release to allow players of their mobile game Pokémon GO to discover the content that will be reserved for them during the month of January 2024.

On the program, you will find raids making their big comebacks like the Ultra-Chimeras. We invite you to discover the list of events and the dates to note in your calendar for next month.

Pokémon GO January Research Phase Rewards

Lokhlass, Galarian Weezing, Galarian Mr. Mime, Couafarel, Mucuscule and Bébécaille will be among the rewards.

  • Duration : from Monday, January 1, 2023 at 10 p.m. to Wednesday, January 31 at 10 p.m.

Pokémon GO: All Raids in January 2024

The following Pokémon will be available in 5-star raids. Each rotation occurs at 10:00 AM (local time).

  • Mouscoto: from January 1st to 10th (only in the Americas and Greenland)
  • Cable: January 1-10 (Asia-Pacific only)
  • Cancrelove: January 1st to 10th (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India only)
  • Boreas (Totemic Form): January 10-17,
  • Fulguris (Totemic Form): January 17-24,
  • Demeterus (Totemic Form): from January 24 to 31,

You will also find Mega Raids throughout the month of September. Here they are below.

  • Mega-Pharamp: from January 1st to 10th,
  • Mega-Charmina: from January 10 to 24,
  • Mega-Steelix: from January 24 to 31,

To finish, Dark Sulfura will appear in raids only on weekends in January.

As every month, there will also be Raid hours which will take place every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  • January 3 : Mouscoto: from January 1st to 10th (only in the Americas and Greenland)
  • January 3 : Cable: January 1-10 (Asia-Pacific only)
  • January 3 : Cancrelove: January 1st to 10th (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India only)
  • January 10 : Boreas (Totemic Form): from January 10 to 17,
  • January 17 : Fulguris (Totemic Form): from January 17 to 24,
  • January 24 : Demeterus (Totemic Form): from January 24 to 31,

Featured Pokémon Hours in January 2024

Pokémon Spotlight Hour returns every Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM during this month of September. You will find the following Pokémon and bonuses.

  • January 2: Morpheo with PX x2 on capture,
  • January 9 : Eevee with x2 capture candies
  • January 16 :Tarsal with transfer candy x2
  • January 23 : Barloche with PX x2 upon evolution
  • January 30 : Trumpet with stardust x2 upon capture

Events planned for January 2024 on Pokémon GO

In September, you will also have your dose of events among which there is the famous adventure in Paldea, but also, the Community Day, let’s discover them without further delay.

  • New Year 2024 : from January 1st to 3rd from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with Jigglypuff wearing a ribbon,
  • Egg-phoric Walk : from January 1st at 10 a.m. to January 31st at 8 p.m., a paid event at €5 to obtain limited studies related to egg hatching,
  • Community Day : January 6 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with Brindibou,
  • Pearl Odyssey : from January 6 to 10,
  • Hisui Typholosion Raid Day : January 14 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.,
  • Glittering dream : from January 13 to 16,
  • Community Day Classic : January 20 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.,
  • GO Combat Week – Journeys beyond time: from January 19 to 24,
  • Stolen treasures : from January 27 to February 1
  • Ho-Oh Dark Raids Weekend : from January 27 to 28
