How to participate in the Fantasy Cup – Hyper League Edition on Pokémon GO?

If this is your first time playing GO Combats, don’t panic! All you need to do is click on the Poké Ball in the menu then on the “combat” icon. There you can participate at any time by clicking on “fight” then selecting the event that interests you. The game will then automatically present you with your best Pokémon that meet the necessary requirements or those that you have put in a team. So be sure to check carefully so as not to get scammed. A match can then start and you will have to face a random trainer in the world. The more victories you win, the more rewards you get.

Pokemon GO Fantasy Cup: The Best Team to Use

As you might expect, it’s almost impossible to predict what Pokémon random opponents will take on their teams. That being said, the selection here is limited to creatures with a Dragon, Steel or Fairy type whose CP is below 2,500. So here are some tips to help you easily beat other players:

  • Get Pokemon able to resist a minimum to attacks of Ttype Fairy, Dragon or Steel.
  • Unlock the second charged attack on the Pokémon you want to use.
  • Try to get Pokemon with CPs close to 2500.

Here are the three best Pokémon we recommend you put on your team:

  • Libegon Obscure with Mud Shot (immediate attack) + Dracogriff And Telluriforce (charged attacks).
  • Alolan Sandfish with Shadow Claw (immediate attack) + Ice Fist And Tunnel boring machine or Registeel with Lockdown (immediate attack) + Exploforce And Luminocannon (charged attacks).
  • Tokopisco with O gun (immediate attack) + Surf And Lunar Power (charged attacks).

With this team composition, each of your monsters will be able to counter certain weaknesses of their teammates. Flygon will be there to defeat creatures that may pose a problem in this format like Lucario or Registeel, however, it will be weak against those of the Fairy type. This is where your two other Pokémon make their entrance since they will be able to compensate for this weakness. By choosing Alolan Sandslash rather than Registeel, you will have access to a Pokémon that can face Giratina quite easily, but on the other hand, you will have less coverage against Fairy types. It’s up to you to see which one you prefer. As for Tapu Fini, it is one of the most powerful of its type currently available. In addition, it has a dual type allowing it to avoid having a weakness to the Steel type.

Fantasy Cup – Hyper League Edition Pokémon GO: The best Pokémon available

Of course, you may not have all three creatures presented above. In that case, we have other pocket monsters to offer you to build your team in order to win as many matches as possible in this Fantasy Cup – Hyper League Edition.

  • Cupcanaille with Fairy Wind (immediate attack) + Flamethrower And Cuddle (charged attacks)
  • Genesect (Pyro) with Cut (immediate attack) + Bombaimant And Techno-Buster Pyro (charged attacks)
  • Giratina (Alternative) with Shadow Claw (immediate attack) + Dracogriff And Drop Shadow (charged attacks)
  • Florges with Fairy Wind (immediate attack) + Charming Voice And Lunar Power (charged attacks)
  • Galar Smogogo with Fairy wind (immediate attack) + Overheated And Cuddle (charged attacks)

The Pokémon we offer you are a selection of those available for the Cup and there are of course alternatives to most of them.
