Field research missions have been present in the Pokémon GO mobile game for years and while most of the time they don’t change, their rewards do and we invite you to discover the list of those that are available for the Hidden Gems season.

Field research in Pokémon GO allows you to obtain rewards that change depending on the month, and for this guide, we’re going over the ones that are currently available.

Pokémon GO Studies: What is it?

While playing Pokémon GO, you can complete many missions through studies. Each will reward you more or less generously and there are different types that work the same way. You have to complete different tasks in order to complete the entire study.

  • One-off study : This is a time-limited quest available, usually during an event.
  • Special study : This is a non-time-limited quest that is available from a specific point in time.
  • Field study : These are quests that require you to collect 7 stamps. To obtain a stamp, you must complete a field research task that you obtain by spinning a PokéStop. In addition, each day, a task is automatically added (up to a maximum of three). Note that you can have a maximum of 5 tasks in progress thanks to PokéStops.

Pokémon GO Field Study: Hidden Gems Season Dates and Rewards

Now let’s talk about this season’s and more specifically the period during which you will be able to enjoy the various rewards that await you. Since it is something that lasts for several months, you will not be too surprised by the fact that the rewards are available until September 1st. Be careful since it is possible that some tasks may be added following events or that rewards change at a given time.

  • Available from June 1, 2023 at 10 p.m. to September 1, 2023 at 9:59 p.m.

It’s all well and good talking about rewards, but we still need to know them to know if it’s worth farming all your field study tasks or if it’s better to keep them for another time. To help you make your choice, here are the different rewards that await you throughout the month of May. Please note that these rewards only include those for boxes of seven stamps.

  • Encounter a Pokémon from a list that may change from month to month.
  • 3,000 PX
