The terrible Team Rocket Boss is coming to Pokémon GO! Thanks to a new special study, you can then face him to try to free Dark Raikou.
February brings a new Team Rocket GO Special Research to Pokémon GO. Don’t panic, if you haven’t completed the old one, with Moltres, Articuno, and Electhor, you can (and should) still do it. You are therefore required to complete the old Special Research to access the new one.
This time, the leaders of Team Rocket and Boss Giovanni are back and you will have to face them in an attempt to free Dark Raikou!
How to face Giovanni?
If you want to access the battles against the Bosses and Giovanni, you will first need to collect Mysterious Elements. By spinning the black Pokéstops, you will be able to fight Team Rocket GO minions. By winning the battle, you will win 1 element. You need 6 to unlock the Rocket Radar! This Radar then allows you to more easily find the Bosses and fight them.
Warning: while the Special Research will not disappear from your quests to complete, Shadow Raikou will no longer be present at the end of February. The missions will not change, but in March, Suicune or Entei will probably replace him!
