Four new types of Decoy modules have appeared on Pokémon GO as Niantic’s title has progressed. They are called Icy Lure Module, Mossy Lure Module, Rainy Lure Module and Magnetic Lure Module.
These Lures can “cause certain Pokémon evolutions”, in addition to attracting Pokemon as usual, but more specifically those belonging to certain types.
The Glacial Lure Module
The Glacial Lure Module can be used on a Poké-Stop in order toincrease the appearance rate of type Pokémon Water Or Ice. By activating it, it will more easily attract creatures of these types, but that’s not all since it can also allow your Eevee to evolve into the sublime Givrali.

The Mossy Lure Module
The Mossy Lure Module can be used on a Poké-Stop in order toincrease the appearance rate of type Pokémon Insect, Plant Or Poison. By activating it, it will more easily attract creatures of these types, but that’s not all since it can also allow your Eevee to evolve into a sublime Leafeon.

The Magnetic Lure Module
The Magnetic Lure Module can be used on a Poké-Stop in order toincrease the appearance rate of type Pokémon Rock, Electric or Steel. By activating it, it will more easily attract creatures of these types, but that’s not all since it can also allow your Tarinor to evolve into Tarinorme. This is also the case for Magneton which can evolve into Magnezone.

The Rainy Decoy Module
The Rainy Lure Module can be used on a Poké-Stop in order toincrease the appearance rate of type Pokémon Insect, Electric Or Water. By activating it, it will more easily attract creatures of these types, but that’s not all since it can also allow your Colimucus to evolve into Muplodocus.

How to force a Pokémon to evolve using the new lure modules?
As we said above, these new lure modules are special because they can evolve certain specific Pokémon by themselves. However, there is a procedure to follow to proceed with your evolutions, and it is better to know it before triggering the lure and panicking for 30 minutes!
- First activate your special Lure Module
- Go to your Pokémon’s menu with the Lure active and click “Evolve”.
Pay attention to the number of candies needed for each evolution.
- Tarinor : 50 candies
- Magneton : 100 candies
- Eevee : 25 candies
- Colimucus : 100 candies
