Recently, Pokémon GO has implemented a competitive system where players from all over the world can compete and win rewards. The GO Battle League is then limited to 5 battles per day and allows you to collect Stardust, Super Candies, or even meet rare Pokémon.
And it’s now official: Pikachu Free will indeed be one of the rewards of the GO Battle League. Be careful though, only participants in the first competitive Season will be able to access the reward.
For now, it is the Pre-Season that is underway. We will have to wait until mid-March (probably) for this pre-season to end and make way for Season 1.
To get the Catcher Pikachu, simply participate in Season 1.
Regarding clothes and accessories for your avatar, you will however have to win a few fights in order to unlock them.
