The new Pokémon Meltan is now available to obtain in Pokémon GO through a special Field Research from Professor Willow! Here is a list of quests to complete and the associated rewards.

Since November 16 at 10 p.m., a new event has started to celebrate the release of Pokémon let’s GO Pikachu and Evoli.

This is the Kanto Event and a new special field study is available. Here is the list of quests to complete:

Quest 1/9

  • Spin 5 pokestops (500 XP)
  • Catch 10 Pokémon (500 XP)
  • Transfer 5 Pokémon (500 XP)
  • Rewards: 1000 Stardust, 10 Pokéballs, 1 Incubator

Quest 2/9

  • Earn 2 candies while walking with your buddy Pokémon (1000 XP)
  • Catch 10 Pokémon (1000 XP)
  • Hatch 3 eggs (1000 XP)
  • Rewards: 2000 Stardust, 2 Lucky Eggs, 1 CT

Quest 3/9

  • Capturing a Ditto
  • Win 2 Arena battles
  • Do 2 Raids
  • Rewards: 10 Superballs, 3 Incense, 3 Max Revivals

Quest 4/9

  • Catch 5 Steel-type Pokémon
  • Catch 5 Electric-type Pokémon
  • Earn 5 candies by walking with your buddy
  • Rewards: 5 Nanana Berries, 4000 Stardust, 5 Super Candies

Quest 5/9

  • Evolve a Tadmorv
  • Capture 5 Gloupti or Limagma
  • Make 20 great throws
  • Rewards: 5000 Stardust, 20 Super Balls, 5 Lure Modules

Quest 6/9

  • Evolving a Magneti
  • Capture 5 Noeunoeuf
  • Complete 10 Raids
  • Rewards: 10 Hyper Balls, 1 Metal Skin, 1 Silver Berry

Quest 7/9

  • Capturing an Osselait
  • Evolve a Soporifik
  • Evolving a Scyther
  • Rewards: 10 Hyper Balls, 1 Charged Attack TM, 3 Premium Raid Passes

Quest 8/9

  • Capturing a Ptera
  • Capture 2 Amonita or Kabuto
  • Capture 2 Anorith or Lilia
  • Rewards: 8000 Stardust, 1 Star Piece, Special Encounter: Meltan

Quest 9/9

Once Meltan is captured, this step only allows you to collect rewards:

  • 135000 px
  • 9000 Stardust
  • 1 Super Incubator
  • 5 Meltan Candies
