The “Pokémon GO New Year 2024” event celebrates the end-of-year celebrations and more specifically the one celebrating the arrival of a new cycle. You will find bonuses as well as the arrival of Jigglypuff wearing a ribbon accompanied by other creatures ready to participate in the festivities.
2024 is fast approaching and to celebrate the start of this new year, Niantic has planned an event on the mobile game Pokémon GO.
Pokémon GO New Year 2024: Event Details and Bonuses
In “Pokémon New Year 2024,” many Pokémon will be there to celebrate the change of year. They will appear in the wild, in raids, in eggs, and as rewards from the field research phase. All of this will be accompanied by a paid one-time research. In addition, two creatures are making their debut for this occasion.
- Jigglypuff and Groodou wearing a ribbon debut in Pokémon GO.
Two bonuses will also be present during the event having location from Monday, January 1, 2024 at 10 a.m. to Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 8 p.m.. Here they are:
- Egg hatching distance halved when Eggs are placed in Incubators during this event.
- Hatching distance divided by 4 for the first three Eggs hatched during the event using the Pokémon GO Egg Hatching Widget.
