Season 13 of the fights continues on Pokémon GO, and Valentine’s Day brings with it the new edition of the Passion Cup 2023.
If this is your first time playing GO Battles, don’t panic! Just click on the Poké Ball in the menu and then on the “battle” icon. There, you can participate at any time by clicking on “battle” and then selecting the event that interests you. The game will then automatically present you with your best Pokémon that have the necessary prerequisites or those that you have put in a team. So remember to check carefully so as not to get caught out. A match can then start and you will have to face a random trainer in the world. The more victories you win, the more rewards you get.
How to participate in the Passion Cup on Pokémon GO?
- Event Dates: from February 9 to 16, 2023 at 10 p.m.
- Pokémon must not exceed 1,500 PCs to participate.
- Only Pokémon red or pink are allowed.
- Pokémon Legendary are not allowed.
Passion Cup: The Best Team to Use
As you might expect, it is almost impossible to predict what Pokémon your opponents will take on their teams, especially when the selection criteria is based solely on color! That being said, the selection here is limited to red and pink creatures whose CP must not exceed 1500. Here are some tips to help you easily beat the other players:
- You can take Pokémon able to resist a minimum to attacks of Ttype Fire (which tend to be red), Water (many of which are pink), but be careful, many Pokémon of all types also respond to this color code.
- Unlock the second charged attack on the Pokémon you want to use.
Here are the three best Pokémon to put on your team:
- Excelangue with Lick (immediate attack) + Mega Whip (charged attack)
- Cream with Charge or Roll (immediate attacks) + Plating, Lightning, Gyroball And Laser Ice (charged attacks)
- Cheniselle form Waste with Mental Shock (immediate attack) + Bumblebee And Iron Head (charged attacks)
Passion Cup: The best Pokémon available
Of course, you may not have all three creatures presented above. In that case, we have other pocket monsters to offer you to build your team in order to win as many matches as possible in this Passion Cup.
- Baggaïd with Response (immediate attack) + Cheating And Acid Bomb (charged attacks)
- Charmina with Response (immediate attack) + Ice Fist And Psycho (charged attacks)
- Flambusard with Calcination (immediate attack) + Raptor And Nitrocharge (charged attacks)
- Charizard with Cru-Wing And Draco-Breath (immediate attacks) + Draco-Claw And Gust Fire (charged attacks)
- Crabapple with Anti-Air and Slash (immediate attacks) + Wound Cross And Landslide (charged attacks)
The Pokémon we offer you are a selection of those available for the Cup and there are of course alternatives to most of them.
