Known since the Diamond and Pearl version, Poffins are small cakes made from Berries. At the time, they allowed to increase certain characteristics of the Pokémon that ate them. In Pokémon GOthe Poffin has a completely different use. Poffins have been available in the game since the update of December 18, 2019. The latter brings a new feature: theAdventure between Friends.
How to get a Poffin
To obtain a Poffin, you must purchase it from the in-game Shop. It costs 100 Pokécoins.
This is the only way to get them today, but special quests may be offered in the near future to receive them as rewards.
What is the Poffin used for?
By giving a Poffin to a Pokémon, it will stay by your side on the Game Map for longer (6 hours).
By giving it berries, the Pokémon only lasts 3 hours. The Poffin is therefore more effective.
