Season 11 of battles continues on Pokémon GO and the rotation of events took place on June 21, 2022. Now, you can participate in the Super League but also to the Cut Retro to try to collect rewards. If this is your first time playing GO Battles, don’t panic! Just click on the Pokéball in the menu and then on the “battle” icon. There, you can participate at any time by clicking on “battle” and then selecting the event that interests you. The game will then automatically present you with your best Pokémon that meet the necessary prerequisites or those that you have put in a team. So remember to check carefully so as not to get caught out. A match can then start and you will have to face a random trainer in the world. The more victories you win, the more rewards you get.
How to participate in the Element Cup on Pokémon GO?

- Pokémon must be under 1500 CP
The Retro Cup is a competition reserved for Pokémon from all types except Steel, Fairy and Darkness.
Pokémon GO Retro Cup: The Best Team to Use
As you might expect, it’s almost impossible to predict what Pokémon random opponents will take on their teams. That being said, the selection is limited here since it’s forbidden to use Fairy, Dark, or Steel-type monsters. Here are some tips to help you easily beat other players:
- Remember to choose three Pokémon with varied type attacks to try to counter as many opposing creatures as possible (Pokémon with a lot of HP are also a good idea in order to resist longer)
- Unlock the second charged attack on the Pokémon you want to use if there are any.
Here are the three best Pokémon to put on your team:
- Excelangue with Lick (fast attack) + Tackle and Mega Whip (charged attacks).
- Grodrive with Punishment (fast attack) + Ice Wind and Shadow Ball (charged attacks).
- Morpheo Rain with O Pistol (fast attack) + Weather Ball and Lightning (charged attacks).
