The Alola Season has just started on Pokémon GO and it brings its share of new features such as new creatures from 7G on the mobile game or even special studies. One of the Pokémon available is none other than Rockbotthe little dog that can evolve into a wolf. Be careful though, Rocabot’s evolution method is different depending on the Lougaroc that you wish to obtain: Day Form or Night Form.
How to get Rockruff on Pokémon GO?
Currently, the only ways to obtain Rockbot are to participate in 1-star Raids or hatch it from 10km eggs. You can spot Raids near you and go there, or use a Remote Raid Pass to stay home and participate in that Raid or that of a friend who invites you.
Note that Rocabot has been available in the game since March 1, 2022 and it is possible to find it in a shiny version.
How to evolve Rockruff into Lougaroc?
You will need to do several Rockbot Raids if you want to get enough candy to evolve him. You can always use Nanana Berries to maximize your candy gain or use Super Candies directly. Once 50 candies together, you will have to evolve your Rocabot while paying attention to the time:
- Make it evolve into Daytime to obtain a Daytime Lougaroc
- Make it evolve from Night to obtain a Night Lougaroc
