It is possible to evolve certain Pokémon into their 4G forms in Pokémon GO. To do this, you need to have a Sinnoh Stone, but how do you get it and what evolutions require it?

In Pokémon GO, many creatures from all generations have been added and some of them not only need candies to evolve but also special items like the Sinnoh Stone.

How to get a Sinnoh Stone in Pokémon GO?

  • Until 2022, the only way to obtain this precious item was to complete a series of 7 field studies. Unfortunately, since then, the item is no longer a guaranteed reward following 7-day streaks and has become a reward random.
  • The chances are not very high, so it may take several weeks before you receive a Sinnoh Stone.
  • The other way is to participate in PvP battles in the GO Battle League or against Team GO Rocket to have a chance to get it as a reward,
  • Sometimes, some free or paid one-off studies, as well as events, can give you some.

Which Pokémon evolve with the Sinnoh Stone?

It was when 4G arrived in the game that many Pokémon then received evolutions that required the Sinnoh Stone to function. Be careful, it also costs 100 candies to evolve the Pokémon in question:
