This February’s Community Day invites you to (re)discover Sonistrelle, the Wave Pokémon at the heart of three hours of intensive meetings. Indeed, it will be featured this Sunday, February 5 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Niantic’s game, Pokémon GO. To help you out, we’re taking a look back at this little creature in this Community Day guide.
Community Day Sonistrelle in Pokémon GO
For a few years now, players of the mobile game have been entitled to a special day each month highlighting a particular Pokémon for a few hours. Seen like that, it’s not necessarily incredible, but there are also interesting bonuses like the increase in the meeting of chromatic forms, or even the time of Incense and Lures which is tripled.

- Pokémon Catch Candy x2.
- 2x chance for Trainers level 31 and above to receive XL Candy when catching Pokémon.
- Pokemon Catch Stardust x3.
- Decoy Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Incense (except Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Take some shots during Community Day to get a surprise!
- An additional Special Exchange can be made for a maximum of two per day.
- Trades made during the event will require 50% less Stardust.
- Special stickers can be obtained by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them in the Shop.
- 4-star Raid Battles will appear after the event, and if you complete them, you will be able to spawn Sonistrelle around the arena where the Raid was taking place for a duration of 30 minutes.
Pokémon GO Sounds Galore: Discover the Community Day Special Study
A special study called Sounds in abundance may be available if you buy the dedicated ticket. It will consist of capturing or evolving Sonistrelle. Thanks to it, you will be able to obtain various rewards such as:
- Super Candies
- Hyper Balls
- Meetings with Sonistrelle and Bruyverne
Remember that you can give the ticket to a friend if you wish. As for the price, it will be the same as every study of this type.

Tips to make the most of the event with Sonistrelle
Since this event only lasts a few hours, you need to be well prepared and to help you, we offer you some tips to fully enjoy and optimize your meetings.
First of all, it will be necessary take into account your environmentbecause depending on where you are, it will not be possible to maximize the meeting potential, but you can still take advantage of certain tips.
- Maximum optimization of encounters : using a Lure module and an Incense at the same time,
- Minimal Dating Optimization: using a Lure module or Incense.
Of course, even if you move around in real life you will also find some, but incense and lures will guarantee you Pokémon quite often. Be careful though, Sonistrelle is not 100% guaranteed to spawn on every creature that spawns. However, it has a high chance of appearing.

How to evolve Sonistrelle (Noibat) in Pokémon GO?
To evolve Sonistrelle, you simply need candy. You don’t need any additional items.
- From Sonistrelle to Bruyverne: 400 sweets
- Number of Sonistrelle to catch (excluding x2 Community Day bonus): 134 (67 with Nanana berries)
Bruyverne (Noivern) exclusive attack at Community Day
The special feature of this event is that you can obtain an exclusive attack by evolving the featured Pokémon into its final stage. As for Bruyverne, it will be able to learn Bang Sonic from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Trainer Combat Power: 150
- Arena and Raid Power: 140
Shiny Sonistrelle and its evolution
To finish this guide and allow you to have what you need, we will return to the shiny version of this family of Pokémon. Basically, they are purple and black, but In their chromatic form, the purple parts of their bodies become turquoise. For Bruyverne, it is his colors that are reversed. So remember to check Sonistrelle’s color when you start an encounter.
