Pokémon GO Timeless Journeys: Tasks, rewards… All the details of the special study!

Niantic is offering trainers around the world the chance to find the creatures that were present at the launch of Pokémon GO. To accompany this event, a new special study is available. Tasks, rewards… Here’s what you need to know to succeed.
There are many quests waiting for you in Pokémon GO. They allow you to obtain more or less rare rewards and sometimes, they can be quite long to complete, like the one we are going to come back to in this guide.
Pokémon GO Timeless Journeys: How to access the special study?
To access this special study, You must log in during the Beyond Time event which takes place from Monday, December 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, December 15, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. After that, if you launch the game, the study will automatically unlock in the dedicated tab that you will find at the bottom right when you are in the game. In addition, two one-off studies are being released at the same time, including the one called the 2023 Level Challenge.
Note : Special studies are studies that are not limited in time, unlike one-off studies.
Pokémon GO Timeless Journeys: Tasks and Rewards List
The “Timeless Journeys” special study is divided into 14 different stages with several tasks and a final set of rewards.
Step 1/14
- Catch 25 Pokémon : 3 CTs Charged Attack.
- Make 15 spin throws : 15 Poké Balls.
- Catch 15 different species of Pokémon: 3 Instant Attack CTs.
- Rewards for completing the stage : Meet Pikachu, 1,000 XP and 500 Stardust.
Step 2/14
- Catch a Pokemon on 7 different days : 2,500 PX.
- Win a heart with your boyfriend for 7 different days : 2,500 Stardust.
- Visit PokéStops on 7 different days : 2,500 PX.
- Rewards for completing the stage : A Poffin, 2,000 XP and 500 Stardust.
Step 3/14
- Open 10 gifts : 5 Raspberry Berries.
- Send 10 gifts to friends : 5 Nanana Berries.
- Catch 20 different species of Pokémon : 25 Super Balls.
- Rewards for completing the stage : 3,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust, and an encounter with Eevee.
Step 4/14
- Catch 3 Pokemon : 1,000 PX.
- Reward for completing the stage : 1,000 PX.
Step 5/14
- Hatch 3 eggs : 5 Raspberry Berries.
- Recharge a Pokémon 10 times : 15 Poké Balls.
- 10 km course : 5 Nanana Berries.
- Reward(s) for completing the step : An Incubator.
Step 6/14
- Complete 10 field studies : 2,500 PX.
- Recharge a Pokémon 10 times : 10 Reminders.
- Win 15 hearts with your boyfriend : 2,500 Stardust.
- Reward(s) for completing the step : An encounter with Rocabot, 2,000 XP and 750 Stardust.
Step 7/14
- Catch 25 Pokémon : 15 Hyper Balls.
- Use 25 berries to catch Pokémon : 3 Instant Attack CTs.
- Catch 20 different species of Pokémon : 2,500 Stardust.
- Reward(s) for completing the step : 3,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust and a Premium Battle Pass.
Step 8/14
- Catch 3 Pokémon: 1,000 XP.
- Reward(s) for completing the step : 1,000 PX.
Step 9/14
- Catch 15 Pokémon : 15 Nanana Berries.
- Spin 5 PokéStops or Gyms : 10 Poké Balls.
- Defeat 3 minions from Team GO Rocket : 2 Charged Attack CTs.
- Reward(s) for completing the step : 1,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust and an encounter with Baggiguane.
Step 10/14
- Catch 15 Pokémon : 5 Nanana Berries.
- Transfer 10 Pokémon : 10 Super Balls.
- Defeat 6 Team GO Rocket minions : 3 Mysterious Elements.
- Reward(s) for completing the step : 1,500 XP, 1,500 Stardust, and a Rocket Radar.
Step 11/14
- Defeat Arlo, the leader of the GO Rocket team : 2,500 PX.
- Beats Cliff, the leader of Team GO Rocket : 2,500 PX.
- Beats Sierra, the leader of Team GO Rocket : 2,500 PX.
- Reward(s) for completing the step : 2,500 XP, 2,500 Stardust, and a Super Rocket Radar.
Step 12/14
- Find Giovanni, the boss of Team GO Rocket : 10 Hyper Potions.
- Fights Giovanni, the boss of Team GO Rocket : 10 Hyper Balls.
- Defeat Giovanni, the boss of Team GO Rocket : 6 Reminders Max.
- Reward(s) for completing the step : 3,000 XP and 3,000 Stardust.
Step 13/14
- Catch 10 Pokemon : 10 Potions Max.
- Spin 10 PokéStops or Gyms : A Sinnoh Stone.
- Defeat 3 minions from Team GO Rocket : 3 Charged Attack CTs.
- Reward(s) for completing the step : 4,000 XP and 4,000 Stardust.
Step 14/14
- Collect your reward : 5 Golden Raspberry Berries.
- Collect your reward : 5,000 PX.
- Collect your reward : A Lucky Egg.
- Reward(s) for completing the step : 5,000 XP, 5,000 Stardust, and an encounter with Griknot.
