Valentine’s Day will take place on February 14th as every year and it is the occasion for many Free To Play to launch an event dedicated to the occasion. This is the case in Pokémon GO where certain creatures are highlighted.

While waiting for the Pokémon GO Circuit of Hoenn, you can enjoy the Valentine’s Day event which will allow you to discover a new Mega-Evolution, but that’s not all since many challenges await you. Here is the list below.
From Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 10 a.m., to Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at 8 p.m.:
- Mega Gardevoir makes its appearance in Mega Raids.
- A one-off study called “Lovely wishes” will allow you to obtain various objects and a meeting with Viskuse. During this meeting, you will have to choose your path, which will lead to changes in the tasks and rewards for the rest of the quest.
- Viskuse will be available in its chromatic form for the first time.
- Kirlia evolving into Gallame or Gardevoir will be able to have the charged attack Syncropeine. Additionally, Gardevoir and Gallame caught in Raids will have access to this ability as well.
- A new form of Couafarel is available. This is the Heart Cut Shape.
- Exclusive stickers and cosmetics will be available in the shop. Stickers will also be available by opening gifts or spinning PokéStops.
You will also have various bonuses that will apply during the duration of the event. There are two known ones currently and here they are:
- Stardust x2 by opening Gifts.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for 2 hours.
Pokémon GO Valentine’s Day: Together to succeed in the Global Challenge!
A Global Challenge will be launched to all trainers around the world during the period from Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 9 p.m. to Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 7 a.m.. By completing it, it will be possible to benefit from additional bonuses until the end of the Valentine’s Day event.
These bonuses are as follows:
- Transfer Candy x 3
- XL Transfer Candy x2 for Trainers level 31 and above
To complete the challenge and get these bonuses, you will simply have to send gifts to your friends. You will need to reach 100 million gifts sent.
Pokémon GO Valentine’s Day: Lovdisc in the spotlight in a targeted study!
THE Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.you will be able to access Field Research tasks that allow you to encounter Lovdiscs. These will have a higher chance of being shiny. To obtain the tasks, you will need to spin the PhotoDiscs at PokéStops during the allotted time.
