In the latest trailer In Pokémon Sword and Shield (August 7), we learn about Galarian Forms. Just like Alola Pokémon, Galarian Pokémon are Pokémon that have adapted to their environment and are only found in Galar. Their appearance then differs from the basic forms we know, but so do their characters.
Better yet, there are some Pokémon that only evolve from their Galar form!
