A brand new feature in Pokémon Sword and Shield, the Poké Service lets you complete special missions, a sort of side quest, to train your Pokémon and earn rewards. But how does it work?
THE latest japanese trailer as of Pokémon Sword and Shield has revealed a brand new feature: the Poké Service. As stated on the official website, in Galar, Pokémon and humans work hand in hand. That’s why multiple businesses and shops ask for help from trainers and their Pokémon. Your role? Complete a few missions, like side quests to your adventure, in order to train your Pokémon and collect rewards.
How to access the Poké Service?
All you have to do is go to any Pokémon Center and consult the Infotisma (a sort of terminal resembling a Motisma).
This infotisma not only allows you to accept and access the list of your Poké-Service missions but also:
- Access your PC boxes (to sort, recover your Pokémon)
- Participate in the ID Lottery
Poké-Service missions
Many establishments such as companies, libraries or universities recruit Pokémon. You can access the list of available missions in any Pokémon center in Galar. Then, you must send the Pokémon of your choice. Depending on the mission, you will have to pay attention to different criteria:
- The number of Pokémon needed to succeed
- The difficulty of the mission
- The amount of time you want to spend on the mission (the longer you send your Pokémon out, the more likely they are to succeed, gain XP and rewards)
- Their type compatibility
Poké Service Rewards
So far, we only know that Pokémon returning from missions will receive XP Points as well as Base Points.
More information to come.
