While post-apocalyptic worlds like the one offered by Once Human may not be very welcoming at first glance, the best friend of the survivor in hostile lands is undoubtedly music, whatever your preferred genre. That’s good, there is a Radio in Once Human that allows you to set the pace for your epic adventures in the wild with a few songs that you may recognize!
How to get the Radio in Once Human?
In Once Human, it is quite easy to discover that a Radio exists and allows you to give a much more rhythmic tone to your travels once you have acquired your first vehicle, the Motorcycle, after a few adventures in the surroundings of Deadsville and after having helped Clara. To access it, simply press the X key (by default), then again on this same key (by default) to change the radio or turn it off.
Except that what many players don’t know is that in Once Human you also have the possibility to put music in your base! To achieve this, you must create a Radio so the acquisition mode is not the most intuitive when you start. To do this, you must go to your tree dedicated to Mimetics (default key O) and unlock the following Mimics in the subcategory Construction :
- Wooden support
- Wooden doors and windows
- Basic furniture for the home – I
- Basic furniture for the home – II
Once the Mimetic “Basic furniture for the home – II” unlocked you should have access to the schematics needed to create the following objects:
- Radio
- Piano
- Circular light
- Blue circular light
- Green circular light
- Notepad holder
All you need to do now is gather the following materials to be able to proceed with the creation of the Radio :
- 10x Archives (cutting down trees with any type of Pickaxe)
- 4x Rusty parts (obtained from scrapping or exploring the world)
- 3x Plastic waste (obtained from dismantling trash or exploring the world)
- 2x Copper ingot (combine Copper Ores and Coal in the Furnace)
- 1x Electrical components (obtained from dismantling trash or exploring the world)
After that, go to your base and open the list of available diagrams (B key then Right click by default). Radio is in the category Furniture and in the subcategory Family entertainment.

In the playlist accessible through the Radio in your base you have access to the same titles as those present in the radio of your vehicle. There are a total of 5 frequencies at your disposal, each one playing a series of titles of very varied genres in order to satisfy the greatest number of players.
