Amber is a fairly common resource in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and overall easy to access. Just like in Breath of the Wildraw Amber deposits are present almost everywhere in the world.
What is raw amber used for?
Raw Amber is mainly used as a useful resource for sales or even like material to improve equipment and weapons thanks to the Amalgam power.
- Fused to a weapon, Raw Amber will make it sharper and add 4 additional attack power,
- It has the same effect when fused with arrows (+4 attack power), and it is possible to recover the Amber Piece if the arrow missed its target.
- When fused with a shield, Raw Amber also increases attack power by 4 and deals damage to enemies that have been parried.
Raw Amber will also allow you to make orange dye for your armor.
Where to find raw Amber?
Raw Amber deposits shouldn’t be too hard to find, as they are quite numerous and scattered throughout Hyrule. They can be found in:
- In caves and underground passages: there are a good ten of them in the underground areas under Hyrule Castle, for example.
- You have a high chance of dropping Raw Amber when you defeat a Lithorok or one of its variants.
- You will also find them in chests.
