Rediscover Kanto Pokémon GO: what creatures can be found in the biomes?
The addition of biomes in Pokémon GO allows you to diversify the encounters you can haveas is the case in other games of the license. What we mean by this is that some Pokémon can appear in a forest biome, where in a mountain biome, they will be less present.
Of course, depending on events and seasons, they may appear more often in any biome. In addition, theBiomes are very different from habitats present at certain major events such as the Pokémon GO Fest or the GO Tou Circuitr.
Currently, we only know of four biomes that have specific creatures related to this event. Here they are:
- The forest biome is home to Pokémon native to Kanto, such as Bulbasaur, Caterpillar, Weedle, and Mystherbet.
- The mountain biome, meanwhile, provides a haven for Pokémon like Sabertooth, Clefairy, Nosferapti, and Diglett.
- The Coastal biome is home to, among others, Squirtle, Psyduck, Sea Otter, and Magikarp.
- The urban biome, finally, welcomes Pokémon like Chenipan, Roucool, Machoc and Fantominus.
Rediscover Kanto Pokémon GO: Where to find Taupikeau and how to make it evolve?
While the “Rediscover Kanto” event is here to highlight the first generation, the arrival of the biomes also adds a new species from the Paldea region, namely Taupikeau. The latter will be available in coastal biomes and will be able to evolve into Triopikeau if you use 50 Taupikeau candies.
