The life system of Resident Evil 4 Remake has changed with respect to Resident Evil 2 and 3 RemakeWhile in previous versions we have life in the inventory menu with the classic vital signs, in this installment we have a new one again life bar in the form of a circle. Regardless of individual opinion, you should know that it can be permanently increased.
If you get hit a lot or die more than you would like in Resident Evil 4 Remakeyou should know that it is possible to increase the life bar that you see in the lower right area of the screen. How? The method is very simple: using yellow herbsbut not in any way.
Yellow herbs are found in very specific areas of the map (always in the same place) and in the Peddler’s shop in Espinelas. Their units are limited. To use them correctly you must combine them: green herb + green herb and/or green herb + red herb. You can combine the yellow herb with a red one, but you can use it up to include a green one. Quick Herb Guide Before You Continue:
- Green grass: recover health
- Red grass: enhances effectiveness.
- Yellow grass: permanently increases life.
When you have the mixture, I recommend using it when you truly you need healing. Increasing life is one of the properties, you will also recover life in the process. Keep in mind that the maximum life is 3/4 of the total circle which would appear on the HUD. There are plenty of yellow herbs to top up your health, so don’t get too hung up on them at the start of the game.
