Are the hot air balloons in this temple making your life difficult in Zelda TotK? Here’s how to solve the “Floatation Question” puzzle with ease and thus obtain the chest blocked behind the gate thanks to a video and written guide.
In this new sanctuary of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom you will have to brilliantly handle hot air balloons to unlock the chest and access a beneficial glow. Find the video guide above and the written and illustrated version below.
Where to find the Sinaqa Uaqa sanctuary?
As you head towards the Piaf Village To complete the Babil and Wind Temple quest, you will probably go through the Delass Relay. There you will find Lady Impa and one of your first geoglyphs that allows you to obtain Dragon Tears. This shrine is therefore a very interesting passage that will serve as a teleportation point. Located in the Hyrule Hills, you can get there by going through the Observation Tower of Fort Watch.
How to complete it?
- In the first room, use Grip To make a low-end hot air balloon: take a wooden board, add a candle in the middle and then the parachute sail on top. Quickly climb onto the board to fly away with it and access the second floor.
- In the second room, take your hot air balloon with Grip and place it above the grid so that it rises up to the target allowing access to be opened,
- In the last room, drop down with your paraglider,
- Your first objective will be to climb the big ball (which is surrounded by 4 jets of flame): you can put two parachutes and a candle on it so that it flies high enough and you have time to recover it at the top (use the ladder to go back up or use Infiltration where there is a hollow in the wall),
- Note that the flame jets can also be used but they are difficult to handle,
- The big ball going from the big circle, this will open a grid to access the chest,
- Go back down and use the wooden board to stick a candle and the small ball on it, as well as a parachute to go back up and place the sphere in the hole on the left: this will open the end gate of the sanctuary.
