The “Combat Lesson: Surprise Attack” is one of the hardest to complete in Zelda TotK if you don’t have the right items at your disposal to improve Link’s stealth. Here are some tips to reduce the noise made by the green-clad soldier.
Are you having trouble completing this Zelda Tears of the Kingdom shrine where you have to be as discreet as a Ninja? That’s normal, Link is quite noisy by default and surprising enemies without making noise is an art that must be mastered. Find a video at the top of the article as well as its written and illustrated version below.
Where to find the Sinata Niqalqa shrine?
In the Akkala region, in the northeast corner of the map, you will find the Akkala East Plain chasm. To its left is the Sinata Niqalqa shrine, visible from the sky since it is not hidden in a cave. Easy to access, the shrine does not offer a complex puzzle to solve but a rather tedious combat lesson to complete. You can start from the Mount Ramol Tower to reach it.
How to complete it?
- In this sanctuary, your objective is to eliminate two golems by sneaking up on them and hitting them from behind, in the back,
- After a few tries, you will quickly understand that, even if you are squatting as explained in the instructions, the first golem will surprise you and you will have to start again,
- The technique is to only move forward when the Golem has its head down between its shoulders and not when it raises it to look around,
- In any case, to greatly facilitate the success of this test, a Silencio remedy will be mandatory. Prepare one before restarting the sanctuary. You will also obtain another Silencio remedy in the reward chest.
- Note that you can also purchase the Stealth Outfit in the Kakariko Village shop.
