Skyrim: a huge new feature worthy of a DLC, it promises to be a success!

Despite its great age, Skyrim continues to inspire passionate fans eager to fill the venerable title with content, including this huge DLC-like addition.

Bethesda may be focusing on Starfield, The Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5 for now, but Skyrim is still living its best life and doesn’t seem ready to retire. To do this, it can count on committed and passionate fans, who sometimes offer us new features that the game’s creators wouldn’t have denied. This is the case of the mod that interests us here.

A new unofficial DLC for Skyrim, by fans for fans

In addition to its various versions on almost all platforms, Skyrim has had a total of three official DLCs: Dawnguard, centered on vampires, Dragonborn centered on dragons, and Hearthfire to create your own home in Skyrim. In 13 years of existence, modders have not stopped trying to offer to enhance the adventure with their own creations in the style of DLC. Here comes another particularly remarkable example in this regard: Bards College Expansion, by kinggath_creations.

This modder has other excellent creations to thank for, such as Sim Settlements for Fallout 4. However, he takes it to the next level with this Skyrim mod that focuses, as its name suggests, on the bards’ college. It offers a whole new series of fully voiced quests, as well as a whole host of new features to fully embrace a career as a bard, a faction somewhat neglected by Bethesda, in Skyrim.

Unlike other high-flying mods for Skyrim, however, this one is not free. It is only accessible on the Creation Club, for 1,000 Creation credits, or nine euros. However, it is available on PC as well as on Xbox One and Series (no PlayStation version in sight for the moment, alas), which is more undeniable compared to most modder creations, which are generally limited to the PC version.
