How does the Expert system work?
The expert system in Star Wars Outlaws is an alternative to the traditional leveling and character development system. It is based on the skills that Kay acquires from the NPCs she meets.
During her adventures in a galaxy far, far away, Kay Vess will meet experts. These are NPCs that are important from a plot and mechanics perspective, who specialize in a particular set of skills. By interacting with them and completing missions for them, Kay will be able to learn the secrets of their trade, which will allow players to perform specific actions such as hacking, improving the speeder and ship, cheating at sabacc or even the possibility of having more vials of bacta.
