Star Wars Outlaws Gambler: Find the Expert and unlock all his skills

In order to cheat in Sabacc and upgrade your blaster to heavy fire mode, you need to recruit The Gambler, one of the experts available in Star Wars Outlaws. Here’s where to find him, complete his mission, and complete his ability challenges.
In Star Wars Outlaws, you play as Kay Vess, a young scoundrel who still has a lot to learn but knows how to surround herself with the best. As a major progression system, you will then have to regularly find Experts in the galaxy in order to unlock new skills. Whether for combat, to improve your speeder or to obtain practical tools, it is essential to find all the Experts and recruit them. Here’s how to do it with The Gambler.
The Gambler’s Abilities
To unlock new skills, you will not only need to find the Expert in the open world and complete his special quest, but also complete challenges for each ability. As for Lando Calrissian, the Gambler, here are the missions to complete for each skill.
Plan A
- Bonus : Allows Kay to perform a double draw on Kessel’s Sabacc. Accept the prompt during the draw phase to initiate the cheat.
- Obtained automatically after completing the expert side mission “The Gambler”
Plan B
- Bonus : Provides the components needed to craft the Heavy Blaster Module. Visit the Workshop to craft and upgrade modules.
- Obtained automatically after completing the expert side mission “The Gambler”
Barrel roll maneuver
- Bonus : Activates a flash barrel maneuver for your ship that allows you to dodge over longer distances and avoid damage for a short duration. Hold L1 or R1 to perform a dodge roll.
- Challenge 1 : Defeat 10 enemies in space
- Challenge 2 : Find 10 containers in space
- Challenge 3 : Dodge 5 incoming missiles
We shoot first
- Bonus : An incapacitated person’s first blaster shot deals a large burst of bonus damage.
- Challenge 1 : Win sabacc games after cheating at least 3 times
- Challenge 2 : Eliminate 10 enemies with a blaster using a hip shot.
- Challenge 3 : Defeat 2 high rollers at sabacc
Then we ask the questions
- Bonus : For a brief period after disarming, any shot or near miss while in hip-fire mode grants a small amount of adrenaline.
Improvisation
- Bonus : After a “Baratin” or when Kay raises his hands in the air, instantly provides a very large amount of adrenaline.
- Challenge 1 : Have a reputation or more with 3 different unions simultaneously
- Challenge 2 : Steal 2 of the Syndicate Vaults
Where to find Lando Calrissian, the Gambler?
On the planet Akiva during the quest “The Droid Repairer”, go to the Alcazar bar in the city of Myrra and speak to the Bartender to unlock the Expert intel suite on “The Gambler”.
- In the bar, approach the Sabacc players and listen to their conversation discreetly to obtain information,
- The quest marker will take you to the Satraps Promenade and then a hidden location where Lando Calrissian is located: you can bribe or use your contacts to get the guard to let you pass
