In Star Wars Outlaws, there is a whole reputation system in place between the different factions in the game. If you decide to betray a clan, you will lose reputation points with them and a whole bunch of advantages. It is therefore important to think carefully before carrying out certain actions or dialogue choices.
Should we tell Eleera about the traitor Pyke or keep the information for Gorak?
This is the first choice you will have to make during the adventure, but be aware that it does not have a big impact (unlike the second choice described later in this article). It occurs at the end of the first mission on Toshara, you will obtain valuable information on the planned coup within the Pyke Syndicate. You can share your discovery with Chief Gorlak. The other solution is to transmit the information to the Scarlet Dawn organization, which competes with the Pykes for influence.
Toshara’s choice, while not unimportant, is not an unequivocal choice for one side or the other in the criminal conflict. An early decision does not eliminate your chances of establishing a good or bad relationship with both organizations, but rather constitutes a small initial bonus which can make it easier for you in the following steps.
If you really want to choose an objectively “better” option, then you should go with the Pyke Syndicate and keep the information for Gorlak. This option will give you a fairly significant bonus to your relations with the Pykes (by upgrading them to “good”), but will also unlock a small positive influence among the members of the Scarlet Dawn.
Choosing Elaara will not change your relationship with the Pykes, but your relationship with the Dawn will become “Good.”
Who to choose between the Pykes and the Scarlet Dawn?
During the story mission, aboard the Imperial space station, shortly after meeting Bosnok, you will be given the choice of trapping one of Toshara’s criminal organizations: the Pyke or the Scarlet Dawn.
Unlike the first choice in the main scenario, the decision will have much more serious consequences.
- If you decide to trap the Crimson Dawn, your relations with the organization will deteriorate considerably, and you will likely be demoted to a lower rank. In return, you will gain a lot from the Pykes, and the quest will be completed during your conversation with Gorak.
- Similarly, trapping the Pykes will bring their wrath upon you, but you will gain a positive reputation with the Crimson Dawn. The mission will end after you return to the planet and speak with Eleera.
Regardless of which option you choose, representatives from both factions will inform Kay of the bounty hunter following her and give her 500 credits. In short, there will be a price on your head!
