It must be recognized that in the last generation, AMD processors with 3D V-Cache were successful among gamers, because it is irrefutable that this extra cache memory helped a lot when it came to achieving better performance in games. For other things it is questionable, but not for those who want a gaming PC to play. For this reason, the launch of this Ryzen 7 9800X3D was on everyone’s lips, but the disappointment is considerable for other reasons.
There is no Ryzen 7 9800X3D in stores in Spain
Since the launch of the processor was officially taking place today, we expected to get up in the morning and see it listed in the main stores in Spain, where we could finally see the real selling price (because you know, AMD announces it at €534.90 but then the stores do a little what they want). But what was our surprise when we found that, for example, in amazon either PcComponents It is not even listed, while in other stores like Coolmod It is, but without availability.
If you start searching in other online stores in Spain, you find the same bleak panorama: there is no stock of the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, or they don’t even have it listed in their catalog as in the cases we have mentioned before. In short, you cannot buy it in Spain yet.
In Germany there is quite a stir about this: its main wholesaler, Mindfactory, announced yesterday that the rumors of a lack of stock of this processor were false, and published an image on the social network X with boxes full of these processors.
Ab dem 07.11. 15UHR bei uns verfügbar! Wer ist so hyped? #9800x3d @AMD_Deutschland @AMD https://t.co/xow5zZ2nkH

However, that the wholesaler mindfactory Having stock of this processor does not mean that other stores have it, at least from the beginning, especially taking into account the close relationship between this wholesaler and AMD that they have had for many years now. This is underlined by the fact that the Ryzen 5 7600X3D was only available exclusively at that store.
Other German stores like Alternate and Casekingwhich both also ship to Spain, are announcing items in stock for this processor but say that sales will begin today at 3:00 p.m. The fact is that this “announcement” is obviously for Germany, in Spain we don’t even have news or promises.
There is no review on HardZone
It is likely, if you are regular readers of this page, that you were waiting for our usual analysis yesterday, when the NDA was lifted and the reviews could be published. But no, on this occasion it seems that AMD has decided not to count on us, and we are not complaining because this is something unfortunately common for the simple fact that, at least from our point of view, Spain matters very little to AMD.
And we say that because it seems incredible that with how big Lisa Su’s company is, they have had the audacity (because it has no other name) to have only three units of this processor available for all the press media in the country, a country with more than 48 million inhabitants and has more than two dozen online technology media, many of them, including ourselves, specialized in hardware.
So, with three units, AMD’s press agency in Spain has had to choose and distribute as best they could. It is not their fault, it is the fault of AMD’s very poor management and foresight in which it seems that Spain matters very little. What is also true is that the agency could have written to the excluded media to notify us and send us information under embargo, to at least be able to prepare an article about the launch in advance, because the truth is that it greatly misses the radio silence at the time. regarding: no one has written to us, no one has notified us of the situation, no one has sent us official information beforehand… NOTHING.
Perhaps it has to do with the fact that the Ryzen 7 9800X3D should be in stores today and it is not. Maybe they made a mistake and the processors assigned to the stores in Spain sent them to Mindfactory in Germany. Who knows, at this point we’re expecting anything.
