Gley is an extremely effective Legatee in The First Descendant, especially against bosses. Here is the build we recommend and which includes the best modules, skills, weapon and reactor to use.
Like Jayber, Gley is also a support specialist with a Neutral Attribute playstyle, meaning she must rely on her skills to carve her way through enemies. Currently, Gley is at the top of our tier list of best characters.
Here’s everything you need to know about which modules, reactors, weapons, and external components best suit Gley, her skills, and how to unlock her.
Module Configuration
Reactors
The best Reactors for Gley are those that focus on Skill power boost and the secondary attack power boost. They significantly increase its damage, which is crucial during boss fights and Void missions.
Gley can be quite aggressive with her Frenzy ability, so you need to find reactors that increase her damage and make her Frenzy state even more lethal.
External components
The best external components for Gley’s build in The First Descendant are those with the following stats:
- HP recovery
- DEF
- Max HP
These components are RNG based, which means you won’t always find ones with all of the stats mentioned above. However, keep looking because you never know when you will find the perfect external components.
You don’t need to equip components with a max shield stat, because Gley doesn’t use one, so it would be pointless.
The best weapons
Blue Beetle
- ATK :62
- Rate of fire : 199
- Reloading : 2 seconds
- Effective range : 35m
- Arcane Wave : When you use a Fusion-type skill, you have a set chance to grant yourself the unique ability Arcane Energy. When you use a Singular type skill, you have a set chance of granting the unique ability Purification.
The Blue Scarab Scout Rifle provides excellent boosts to Gley, and these buffs are activated when using Fusion and Singular skills, which is a boon for our Legatee. The Arcane Wave buff thus provides an increase in DPS and a little additional range.
Eradicator (Smithereens)
- ATK : 20
- Rate of fire : 150
- Reloading : 1.6 seconds
- Intrepidity : By hitting the enemy with all bullets, increases the critical hit rate of the gun and the critical hit damage of this attack. When dealing a critical hit to an enemy, grants the unique ability Amplify.
Gley’s Frenzy skill coupled with the colossal burst of this shotgun allows Gley to annihilate his enemies with the snap of a finger.
SKILLS
- Thirsty (Passive): Gley generates life spheres when she kills her enemies. She heals herself and increases her life power when she absorbs life spheres.
- Frenzy : Uses HP to enter Fury mode. In this mode, the ATK and piercing of long-range weapons increases.
- Siphon of life : Deals damage to nearby enemies and restores HP. In Fury mode, damage increases. In normal mode, damage dealt by enemies is reduced for a period of time.
- Sensory Augmentation : When Gley is in a Frenzy state, the sensory augmentation temporarily grants him an unlimited supply of ammo. When in her normal state, she increases her movement speed, HP recovery, and the number of life spheres generated.
- Massacre : Gley changes weapons and brandishes Massacre. While in a Frenzy state, her skill damage increases and enemies hit are stunned.
When Gley is in a state of Frenzyits fire ATK and penetration increase, but its HP recovery decreases. This means she is vulnerable to attacks, especially when facing bosses, but this can be counterbalanced with a Legatee like Ajax on the team. Ajax’s Orbital Barrier will stop and deflect all enemy attacks.
His second essential skill is Sensory Augmentation. She reacts differently in a Frenzy state than in a normal state. It is therefore essential to know how to recognize situations where it is preferable to boost your damage, or on the contrary your survival.
