The Broken Engraving Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Lake Toto: How to complete this Zora main quest?

After finding Sidon of Zora’s Domain, the prince will ask you to go talk to Jitato located at Lake Toto. Here’s where to find this location on the Zelda TotK map and how to complete the Broken Carving mission. on your way to the Water Temple.
After retrieving your Zora Armor from Yona in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you were able to speak to Prince Sidon who was in Mipha Park. He sent you to a scholar named Jitatosupposed to be at Lake Toto. Here’s how to complete this mission from the Zora main thread quest.
Where to find Lake Toto?
As is often the case with this type of quest, the yellow dot that is supposed to help you on the map remains where the main character is (here, Sidon). You will therefore have to find Lake Toto all by yourself. It is a bit complex since the lake in question is absolutely not represented by blue, like the other bodies of water in the region. It is located top left of Mipha Parkbetween Zora Plateau and Lightning Mountain:
The Broken Engraving
- Once you arrive at Lake Toto, talk to Remuse on one of the rocks. She will tell you that Jitato hides in the cave opposite, observing a strange engraving.
- In the cave, Jitato will explain to you that the famous engraving is broken and that you must rfind the missing piece !
- Exit the cave and when you are facing it, look to the right, in height. The piece of engraving is up there, covered in mud.
- Use a water fruit or a chuchu jelly and throw it on the mud to clean the engraving,
- Then use the power Grip to bring the piece back into the cave and turn it to fit perfectly into the wall,
- Jitato will then read the engraving, which will end this mission and start a new one: The Trail to the Sky.
