This new mission of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is not very long but its enigma could make you lose patience if you can not find the right place on the map or understand what the “full moon” is doing in “broad daylight. Find the video walkthrough above as well as the written and illustrated version of the guide below.
Start of the quest “The Gorons and the Moon”
Once you have completed Yunobo’s main quest in Goron Village, new side missions will be unlocked in the village. By teleporting to Malaq Guti Shrine, go in front of theHostel to talk to Rorc and Konvoh. They will explain that they were born in a very special place where “the full moon was shining on the ground” and will ask you to go take a picture of that place.
- The clues : you have to go, in broad daylight, somewhere between the Ravin d’Ordinn and the Lac des Baignes.
Where to take a photo of the full moon?
By opening your map you will quite easily see a stretch of water called “lake of baths” a little further south of the Goron Village. Teleport to the Tower of the Ravine of Ordinn and then head east with your paraglider. On the side of a wall, you will see two circular holesone at the top and one at the bottom.
Go inside the Cave of the Bathing Lake and you will see a circle of light at the bottom: it is the famous full moon! It is actually the light of the sun passing through the hole at the top. For this to work, you must wait between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. so that the “full moon” is completely formed on the ground. You can use a bundle of wood and a flint to make a campfire (then hit it with a metal weapon to light it and pass the time).
Once the sun is at its zenith, take out the camera and take a picture of the glowing circle on the ground. Then return to Goron Village to show it to the two brothers and receive 100 rupees as a reward.
