In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, some missions are actually made up of several quests to complete to obtain increasingly interesting rewards. This is the case of Canel, at the school of Élimith.
Start of the mission “The joys of teaching 2”
When you go to the Village of Élimith, you will come across a school run by Canel. He will invite you to take one of his classes to learn more about the Great Scourge. This is the first mission “Joy of Teaching” where you had to find a screen at Kakariko Village. If you wait for a day to pass in the game, you can attend a second class, this time focusing on the culinary arts.
Use a campfire to wait for the next morning: from 8:00, young students will start entering the building and settling on the chairs. The class starts at 9:00. The opportunity for you to speak to Canel again to trigger the mission “The joys of teaching 2”.
He will ask you to prepare the recipe for Monster curry at from monster extract.
How to cook monster curry?
Monster curry is a fairly simple recipe to make if you have the following ingredients:
- x1 Monster Extract : Go to Euzéro Village to buy some from the village merchant. Note that you can also get some by eliminating Fear Trunks.
- x1 Bushel of rice : you got 10 during the previous mission with Canel otherwise check out our guide to get rice easily,
- x1 Venison : a piece of meat to obtain from wild boars for example or by using Amiibos
Use a pot to prepare the dish and then go to the school, from 9:00, to give it to Canel. The students will then taste the curry, which they will find very good. Your reward is rather unusual: you will get a vegetable garden, just for you, where it is possible to grow vegetables thanks to Florène. It is located below the school.
