In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom there are more than 150 shrines to complete and almost all of them offer challenges that can end up being somewhat complex due to their puzzles. One of them is the Qiol’iou Shrineso we invite you to take a look at the following guide with all the steps to follow to overcome it.
How to complete Qiol’iou Shrine
Also known as Kiuyoyou Shrine in English, this shrine is located west of the Great Hyrule Forest, more specifically on the road that divides the Ramin Plain from the Aliso Slope. You just have to follow the following steps to easily overcome it and obtain its secret chest.
- As soon as you enter you will see on the right a few fires falling from the ceiling and on the left a giant block of ice.
- You have to grab the ice block with the Ultra Hand and take it to where the flamethrowers are so that it melts, but be careful not to overdo it.
- Once you have melted it a little, you have to take the block to a small switch nearby so that it can press down on it due to its weight.
- In the next room, if you pull the ice block with the Ultra Hand you can place it on a platform on the left. Then climb up it with the Infiltration, climb the ice block and reach the chest containing a Great Zonnanium Spear.
- Continuing through the shrine, you will see a section that emits gusts of air. Use the parasail on them to reach the next area.
- In it you will see a kind of tube from which ice blocks fall, but these melt because of the fire they end up in and which comes out of the wall.
- If you look closely, there is a platform on the right that you can grab with the Ultra Hand and place it vertically to stop the fire from advancing.
- Now you can remove the ice block from where it is and then do exactly the same with the platform that was blocking the fire.
- You attach one thing to another and place them on the spike board so that it slides along it. However, the ice block has to be underneath so that it can slide.
- You go back the way you came with the paraglider to reach the place where the ice block ended up. Without undocking anything, you move it to the fires at the beginning.
- Finally, you take it to them so that the platform blocks the fire and the ice block, due to its weight, will be used to press the switch that blocks the door that leads to the luminous orb.
