The Pokémon GO Circuit: Kanto event has been going on for several months. It began on January 5, 2021, with the celebration of the Unova region and offered you different quests to earn rewards. It’s a fun way to (re)discover the various regions of the Pokémon universe and enjoy a high spawn rate of certain Pokémon.
This event will also mark the franchise’s anniversary in February 2021 to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto Event
THE February 20, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.local time, the special Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto event takes place. It will then be possible to participate in a free version or a paid version (with more missions and rewards).
Free Event Bonuses
- Some Kanto Pokémon will appear in the wild and in raids more often,
- Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Mewtwo will be making their return to Legendary Raids!
- All Trainers will be able to access a one-time study exclusive to the event.
- The distance of the exchanges will be increased to 40 km.
Paid Event Bonus
It is already possible to purchase a paid ticket in the Pokémon GO store. With this ticket, which costs $11.99, you will be able to access these different bonuses:
- All Kanto Pokémon will appear in the wild, in raids, in encounters after Research tasks, be attracted to Incense, or be obtainable through Evolution during this time.
- By catching the first 150 Pokémon, you will earn special rewards,
- Choose the experience you want: Red Version or Green Version.
- All 150 Pokémon from Kanto will be available in their Shiny form,
- Enjoy a Special Research for Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto, which you can complete to earn an encounter with a special Pokémon!
- Once you complete the first Special Research scenario, you will be able to access a second exclusive scenario, which you can participate in for the long term and in which you will embark on a long and difficult journey to discover Shiny Mew.
- You will earn more Candy by catching Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region.
- If you purchase a Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto ticket before January 16, you will also receive tickets to the January and February Community Day Special Research events.
