Here’s a new Zelda Tears of the Kingdom side quest that’s among the rumors for Penn of the Gazette to complete. Check out the video above and the written version of this short story In Search of Truth in a Relay.
The Well Out of Service: Obtaining the Rumor
This quest is part of the 12 investigations that you must complete with Penn in order to complete “In Search of Truth” in the Gazette des Bois and obtain the rewards. You will find it at Gerudo Canyon Relayin the desert region at the bottom left of the map, west of the Gerudo Canyon Tower. The nearest shrine is Tula Qamiqa.
Once there, you will find Penn outside in front of the well to the left of the relay. He will explain to you that the latter is condemned and that he does not understand why.
What to do in the well?
Jump into the relay well to fall into the water. Head towards thepile of rocks and destroy it either with a stony mallet (stick + rock with Amalgam for example), or a bomb flower or your Yunobo power. Be careful, behind it are three Lizalfos that you must defeat, as well as an Octorock (wait for its gland to appear to hit it). It will let a chest escape containing a Sun Shield.
Continue up the cave to come across a large Lightning Lizalfos. Defeat it to complete the quest and wait for Penn to come and give you your reward.
