There is only 1 day left for players to claim Notcoin tokens (NOT) when hype about the game on Telegram explodes

One day left for Notcoin players to claim their NOT tokens as Hamster Kombat and other Telegram games are attracting attention.

Games based on the Telegram messaging app have been growing strongly recently, all fueled by massive demand and the significant token launch seen earlier this year by Notcoin. And now Notcoin is about to finish claiming tokens for gamers as the next moves of the game begin to take shape.

Notcoin airdrop claims for players will end on Sunday, June 16, one month after the NOT token launches on The Open Network. NOT immediately became the largest game token launch of 2024 upon launch, surpassing a $1 billion market cap as millions of players were able to claim their rewards for playing the game.

However, it has grown since then, with a sharp price increase in early June pushing the token past a $2 billion market cap and into the top 60 cryptocurrencies. Even amid a more volatile few weeks for both NOT and the broader gaming token market, Notcoin is up more than 50% in the past 14 days, according to data from CoinGecko.

Notcoin players from the “mining phase” earlier in the year can still claim their tokens from within the Telegram mini app and choose to send them to an exchange, withdraw them to self-managed wallets, or stake tokens in Notcoin to earn rewards. Potential future incentives and rewards.

“Part of the unclaimed tokens will fund future development and the rest will be burned,” developer Open Builders previously stated.

According to the development team, if you see the “OK” emoji in the Notcoin mini app, it means you have claimed your tokens – whether through withdrawing or staking them. Notcoin says it has nearly 2.5 million on-chain holders along with “millions more” through exchanges.

Players who have staked their tokens in the game will receive a user level boost the month after they stake, while Notcoin says new users who want to stake “will be able to achieve a higher level next week.” Higher level players will eventually have access to more opportunities to earn tokens and rewards as the game expands over time.

Notcoin’s core coin-tapping gameplay has yet to return since being disabled on April 1 before the airdrop, but the development team has said they plan to bring it back – and introduce games other as they aim to create a Netflix-like platform for social games. This game, however, already offers passive monetization opportunities through partnerships with other projects.

After Notcoin attracted about 35 million players and launched its massive token, other games on the Telegram platform pursued similar plans. The biggest game to date is Hamster Kombat, a Tap to Earn game with a planned token launch in July. With Hamster Kombat, players repeatedly tap on a hamster image to receive points. After each level, the Hamster will upgrade and change its appearance. It is similar to Notcoin.

Hamster Kombat claims that it attracted over 100 million players on Telegram before integrating cryptocurrency, while its social media accounts also saw strong growth. Now, mini app games on Telegram such as Yescoin and TapSwap are also planning to launch tokens on The Open Network.

Meanwhile, The Open Network and its native token TON appear to be benefiting from increased attention. TON rose to an all-time high price of $8.25 late Friday, and is now in the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.
