Want to complete all the shrines in Zelda TotK but missing a particularly hard-to-find one? Here’s where the Titi Mau Temple is hidden in the Gerudo Desert and how to navigate the maze of ruins to get your “Rauru’s Blessing.

Titi Mau is probably one of the best-hidden shrines in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. The challenge is to find it in the Gerudo Desert! Find a full video above or a written and illustrated version below.

Where to find the Titi Mau sanctuary?

Before looking for this extremely well-hidden sanctuary, we advise you to equip yourself with heat-resistant clothing but above all to have completed the main quest of Riju, from Gerudo City. This will allow you to no longer have to worry about the sandstorm and therefore have a clear visual of where you are putting your feet.

The Titi Mau sanctuary is located in the Gerudo desertto the right of the City. You will have to go just below the Erpel wastelands and you drop into the whirlpool of quicksand to access a cave.

How to complete it?

  • Once in the Ruins of the old prison, go straight to the two torches then activate the Lever thanks to the Grip power by putting it on the left: this will open the grid,
  • Turn left immediately, continue a little then turn right when you see a lit torch,
  • Head straight ahead until you see two new torches on the wall and a statue of a warrior with her sword pointing to the right,
  • Don’t forget to use lightning fruits to eliminate the Gibdos easily,
  • Follow the direction pointed by the warrior: right until you come across a new lever to activate with Grip,
  • This will open the left and right gates: immediately go right by jumping into the hole,
  • Go to the very back of the room to be able to go back up and come across two new torches with a lever to activate: be careful, the floor will collapse under your weight,
  • Once the lever is activated, go down to where the slabs fell: you will see a new statue half buried by the sand whose sword points towards the sanctuary,
  • Continue straight and you will indeed see the sanctuary behind a gate,
  • Use Infiltration to get through the top,
  • Use Grip to remove the slabs that are in your way behind the chest: this will release a lever,
  • Activate the lever and you will access the sanctuary which is none other than a Blessing of Rauru: there is therefore no more test, simply a chest to open.
