Chrome 151.0.7922.71/.72 (Windows/Mac) and .71 (Linux) fixes 370 security issues, 7 rated Critical.

Four Critical bugs — CVE-2026-17650, -17652, -17653, -17656 — are use-after-free flaws Google found internally, not through outside bug reports.

None of the 370 fixes are currently known to be exploited in the wild, per reporting on Google's advisory.

The affected components span Compositing, the Views UI toolkit, Skia graphics rendering, and Ozone — core rendering and input-handling code every Chrome tab touches.

This is at least the third Chrome release this year to land 300+ fixes in a single update — memory-safety bugs keep surfacing at roughly this rate.

Chrome usually updates itself in the background, but it won't relaunch until you close and reopen the browser — so an idle window you haven't closed in weeks might still be running the vulnerable…
