Worlds 2023 Pokémon GO: Event Details
To accompany the 2023 World Championships, Niantic is offering us an event highlighting creatures adept at fighting. It’s called Shimmering Greenery and it will take place from Friday, August 11, 2023 at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 8 p.m.. This will be the opportunity for you to discover for the first time Quartermac as well as the special Pikachu of Worlds 2023.
- Quartermac and Pikachu World Championships 2023 begin.
As with any event, it is also possible to take advantage of bonuses that you will find below.
- The maximum number of series you can play per day in GO Battle League is increasing from 5 to 10.
- Pokémon encountered through GO Battle League rewards will have a larger gap between their Attack, Defense, and HP.
Additionally, some Pokémon can learn specific attacks during this period.
- Evolve Alolan Sandshrew during the event to obtain an Alolan Sandshrew that knows the Fast Attack: Shadow Claw.
- Evolve Machoke during the event to obtain a Machamp that knows the Charged Attack Retaliation.
- Evolve Otaria during the event to obtain a Manatee that knows the Fast Attack Ice Shards and the Charged Attack Ice Wind.
- Evolve Phogleur during the event to obtain a Kaimorse that knows the Fast Attack Powder and the Charged Attack Icicle.
- Evolve Galarian Linéon during the event to obtain an Ixon that knows the Charged Attack Block.
