If you’re having trouble finding Kakariko Village in Zelda TotK, especially to complete the side quest “A Message from Ancient Times” given by Lizron, here’s where it is located on the map! You’ll need to go through the tower on the Sahasla Plain.
One of the side quests in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom will ask you to go to Kakariko Village and find steles telling the story of Hyrule’s Soneau past. Here’s where to find this famous location on the map.
Obtaining the quest “A Message from Ancient Times”
- Prerequisites : This quest unlocks after successfully completing one of the 4 major temples in the main quest.
- Place : Return to Fort Guet
- NPC : Speak to Lizron in front of an ancient stele.
- Objective : He can’t decipher the writing and will ask you to go to Kakariko Village to retrieve his equipment.
Once in the village, you just have to go to the Soneau Archaeology Base and find Lizron. He will tell you about the stele and reveal that there are actually 12 more to look for! [Guide dédié à venir concernant l’emplacement des 12 stèles].
Where is Cocorico Village on the map?
The village of Cocorico, an emblematic place of the Zelda saga, is located below the Lanelle swamps. From Central Hyrule, you can use the Fort Watch Tower to fly into the skies and get as close as possible to the tower on Sahasla Plain. From there, fly northeast again, a few kilometers away.
What to do with the circular vestige?
When you arrive at the village, many characters will tell you that access to the circular vestige is blocked. This is normal and you will have to wait a long time before being able to access this mysterious place. Take the opportunity to complete side quests on site such as the vegetable gruel quest.
